Your Commitment
Your abstract was accepted and scheduled for presentation with the understanding that a written technical paper, presentation slide deck, and speaker registration are required for all speakers at SMTA International.

Papers (4-10 pages including tables, graphs, and images) are due September 15 and should describe significant results from experiments, emphasize new techniques, and contain technical, economic, or appropriate test data. Technical papers and presentation materials must be original, unpublished, and non-commercial in nature. Please review Speaker Kit for the SMTA Non-Commercialism Policy for all papers and presentations.

Submit Your Materials
Once you have completed your technical paper and presentation slides, please submit them to SMTA.
These will be reviewed by the technical committee to ensure all materials adhere to our formatting and non-commercialism requirements. Any materials that do not follow these requirements will be sent back to speakers to reformat and update.

Onsite updates to technical papers and/or presentation slides will not be accepted.

Conference Registration
All speakers are required to register for SMTA International at the discounted speaker rate. Register by September 8 to save 10% on your registration fees. SMTA Corporate Members receive additional discounted off the posted member rates.

Find Your Presentation
View your presentation/date directly online by searching your name!

Speaker Breakfast
On the day of your presentation please be sure to attend the Speaker Breakfast at 7:30am located in the Speaker Lounge (Room 42/43). This is where you will meet the Session Chair, Co-Chair, and additional speakers presenting in your session.
Presentation Length
Each technical presentation is allocated a 30-minute time slot. We recommend that speakers dedicate 25 minutes to their presentation content, reserving the remaining 5 minutes for an engaging audience Q&A session.
Provided Conference Laptops
All conference rooms will have the presentations pre-loaded on the SMTA laptop, along with a presentation remote for you. We are unable to accommodate presentation updates made onsite.
Speaker Check-In
Upon arrival, please proceed to the SMTA Office (Room 59/60) located on the second level. This is where you will check-in, receive your name badge, and conference materials.
