Your Commitment
Your abstract was accepted by the Technical Committee with the understanding that a written technical paper, presentation slide deck, and speaker registration are required for all speakers at SMTA International.
Technical papers (4-10 pages including tables, graphs, and images) are due September 18 and should describe significant results from experiments, emphasize new techniques, and contain technical, economic, or appropriate test data. Papers and presentation materials must be original, unpublished, and non-commercial in nature. Please review the Speaker Kit for the SMTA Non-Commercialism policy.

Once your technical paper and presentation slides are complete, please submit them to the above upload links by September 18, 2026. These will be reviewed by the technical committee to ensure all materials adhere to our formatting and non-commercialism requirements. Any materials that do not follow these requirements will be sent back to speakers to reformat and update. Onsite updates to technical papers and/or presentation slides will not be accepted.

Find Your Presentation
View your session date, time, and room assignment by searching your name in the online technical program.
Speaker Check-In
Upon arrival, please proceed to the SMTA office (Room 59/60) located on the second level. This is where you will check-in, recieve your name badge, and conference materials.
Presentation Length
Each technical presentation is allocated a 30-minute time slot. We recommend that speakers dedicate 25 minutes for presentation content and 5 minutes for audience Q&A.
Speaker Breakfast
On the day of your presentation, please be sure to attend the Speaker Breakfast at 7:30am in the Speaker Lounge (Room 42/43). This is where you'll meet your session chair, co-chairs, and fellow presenters.
Conference Lunch
Lunch is provided each conference day. Your name badge is required for access.
Conference Laptops Provided
All conference rooms will have your presentation pre-loaded on the SMTA laptop, along with a presentation remote. We are unable to accomodate presentation or slide updates made onsite.
