Congratulations! Your paper was accepted by the Technical Committee for the SMTA International Conference. We are pleased to have you as part of our strong technical program!

Your Commitment

Your abstract was accepted and scheduled for presentation with the understanding that a written technical paper, presentation slide deck, and speaker registration are required for all speakers at SMTA International.

Papers (4-10 pages including tables, graphs, and images) are due September 9 and should describe significant results from experiments, emphasize new techniques, and contain technical, economic, or appropriate test data. Technical papers and presentation materials must be original, unpublished, and non-commercial in nature. Please review Speaker Kit for the SMTA Non-Commercialism Policy for all papers and presentations.

Submit Your Materials

Once you have completed your technical paper and presentation slides, please submit them to SMTA Headquarters. 


These will be reviewed by the technical committee to ensure all materials adhere to our formatting and non-commercialism requirements. Any materials that do not follow these requirements will be sent back to speakers to reformat and update.

Speaker Breakfast

On the day of your presentation please be sure to attend the Speaker Breakfast at 7:30am located in the SMTA Office.  This is where you will meet the Session Chair and Co-Chair for your session.

Presentation Length

Each technical presentation is allocated a 30-minute time slot. We recommend that speakers dedicate 25 minutes to their presentation content, reserving the remaining 5 minutes for an engaging audience Q&A session.


Provided Conference Laptops

All conference rooms will have the presentations pre-loaded on the SMTA laptop, along with a presentation remote for you.  We are unable to accommodate presentation updates made onsite.

Speaker Check-In

Upon arrival, please proceed to the SMTA Office (Room TBD) located on the second level, above Exhibit Halls C/D.  This is where you will check-in, receive your name badge, and conference materials.

Monday- Thursday: 7:30am – 5pm

Lunch Buffet

Conference Lunch

Lunch will be provided for you each day:  Monday and Thursday (Room TBD), Tuesday and Wednesday in the Conference Lunch on the expo floor. You must have your name badge to access this area.
